Before you download...
- This software is an Evaluation Version of XSL Formatter V3.3 Beta. Please read the License Agreement carefully.
- This software can be installed without re-installing XSL Formatter V2.x. You can evaluate this software having both V2 and V3 installed on your computer.
- This software supports table-layout="auto." This function is convenient but takes processing time. If you are going to compare the performance with the other products which doesn't support auto table layout, please specify table-layout="fixed" instead. Since auto layout is default operation, if nothing is specified the setting is auto layout. See also Q&A page to learn how to set the fixed table layout.
Restrictions of the Evaluation Version
- Impossible to input/output the area tree.
- The water marks background image that shows "Evaluation Version" is shown.
- An evaluation copy will expire after 90 days.
- It's prohibited to use the Evaluation Version for any productive or commercial purpose.

SVG Output has the following restrictions.
- Only the first one page can be outputted.
- Font embedding is not available.
The SVG output function in the product version is an option. In order to use this function in the product version, you need to purchase
XSL Formatter SVG Output Option separately.
Notes
- Before using XSL Formatter 3 for Solaris/Linux/Macintosh, please make sure to read the "Readme" file carefully.
- This software is an evaluation of XSL Formatter, the text that shows the Evaluation Version is printed on all the pages of the formatted result. You can not delete or change this URL.
- If you are going to install this software on 'Windows NT', 'Windows 2000', 'Windows XP', 'Windows Server2003' please login as a member of administrators. You cannot install on Windows NT, 2000, without administration rights. In Windows XP, the following error message appears and installation may be failed.
- The root authority is necessary to install this software on Solaris/Linux/Macintosh.

If you are going to make a program that call XSL Formatter Linux version from C/C++ Interface, please use GCC 3.2 or later. Because C++ binaries are incompatible between GCC 3.2 and earlier versions, your program will not work if you use GCC earlier version of 3.2. Please refer to the GNU GCC home page for details. (http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/gcc.html).
- Macintosh version does not support the old Font Suitcase which is used by Classic MacOS and whose font is defined as the resource fork.

If your Linux environment does not include libstdc++.so.5, you should get it from your distributor.
